Background
Toyworld are expanding significantly through organic growth which identified floors in their existing I.T Infrastructure. The growth of online trading and catalogues has also identified opportunities for further expansion. With only five people processing all the orders and stock control has increased the pressure of a reliable system.
The Requirement
The first requirement is a professional internet presence with a web site which consists firstly of an online catalogue, internet trading and professional email addresses.
The next requirement is to enable the sharing of data provided from a central location with regular backups and security. With the internet presence the internal systems must also be protected from any outside intervention.
The Solution
Redfox’s proposal was based on the installation of Microsoft Small Business Server 2003. This will provide Toyworld with the centralised email and data structure plus full backup facilities providing data integrity.
Redfox also provided Toyworld with full domain name configuration and support for a web site for a web catalogue and online trading.
Redfox also provided Toyworld with full support either via telephone or remote control via a secure VPN connection with the further assurance that an engineer will visit site if required.
All Toyworlds systems are protect by Stateful Packet Inspection firewall.
